Our Hifz program is divided into three essential phases to ensure the Quran is preserved correctly in the student’s mind:
Jadid (New Lesson): Daily memorization of a specific number of new verses or pages.
Sabqi (Recent Revision): Daily review of the lessons learned in the current Juz (Para) to solidify recent memory.
Manzil/Amokhta (Old Revision): A systematic rotation of previously memorized Paras to ensure no part of the Quran is forgotten.
Tajweed Integration: Maintaining perfect pronunciation and melody even while reciting from memory.
Discipline & Etiquette: Learning the spiritual discipline and daily habits required to maintain the status of a Hafiz.
We utilize a proven, traditional methodology adapted for the modern online learner:
Individual Assessment: We evaluate the student’s reading fluency and memory strength to create a customized daily Hifz target.
Guided Memorization: The teacher helps the student memorize the new lesson during the live session, ensuring the pronunciation is correct before it is committed to memory.
The Triple-Review System: Our students follow a strict daily routine of reciting the Jadid, Sabqi, and Manzil to their teacher to ensure “strong” (Pukka) memorization.
Milestone Tracking: Regular tests are conducted after the completion of each Para, and certificates are awarded to celebrate the student’s progress toward the final goal.
